Back in April 2016, long time skate shoe brand Fallen Footwear announced that they would be closing up shop.
Nearly two years later, it has now been revealed that Town Connection, an Argentinian investment group has purchased the Fallen trademark, as well as their social media assets. The investment group is actively searching for a partner in the United States but, does have distributors on board in both Europe, and Asia.
Fallen has stated that they plan to introduce new shoe styles, while also incorporating new materials to brand’s already existing models at a consumer friendly price point.
After nearly 15 years in the game, Fallen’s downfall sparked a strong debate within the in skateboarding world on independent “skater owned” brands VS corporate owned shoe companies, and their value moving into the future.
